During our romantic weekend stay, the attention to detail was remarkable, with freshly baked croissants and delightful cocktails each evening. The ambience of the covered porch and the beautiful decor added to the charm, creating a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation. However, the lack of a private TV in our smaller room was a slight inconvenience, and I found the bed size a bit snug for two. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience felt like staying with friends, making it unforgettable.

I had a great time during my stay, especially enjoying the cocktails and snacks at the evening gathering. The hosts shared interesting facts about the mansion and its history, which made me feel more connected to the place. The breakfast was inventive, and I appreciated that attention was paid to everyone's safety throughout the stay.

I found the pillows soft, which made it hard for me to get a good night's sleep. A footrest would have been nice for comfort while sitting.

I stayed in Room 3 and it was super cozy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the sheets were the softest ever. The room was spacious with nice decor, and having a private bathroom was a plus. I loved that there was a comfy corner chair, perfect for reading. Water pressure in the shower was great too. Only downside? I wished there were more grab bars in the bathroom for a bit of extra safety.

Just a balanced option for a short interlude in Galena with very good value for money. The warm homemade cookies upon arrival were a delightful surprise. Make sure to spend some time on the screened-in porch.
